The story of Jennifer Febre Boase
I have 2 kids 16 and 18 years old; both are boys. One is studying Physics at Columbia University. The other is a high school junior. Both are musicians.
I have a brewery, a pipe band and I run the hot lunch program for a local school.
I used to work in advertising and now I am a stay at home mom.
I met Jooners via another mom on a school function sign up sheet. The very first time I signed up on Jooners, a light bulb went off!
This will change my life!
Six months before I met Jooners, I was doing an entire concert on paper and pencil. The hot lunch program with its tens of volunteers was being done all on spreadsheets and paper. Every Sunday night, I was in the mode of writing long emails detailing who is doing what on which day. Nightmare!
Now ….it is all Jooners.
I make a list and magically people appear. If they are available they sign up. And reminders…no longer my business. Jooners does it all for me. I will tell you this: Having Jooners for me is the difference between me doing an activity and not doing it. Since the organization and coordination is all taken care of, I am available to do more.
Getting people is only half the battle, reminding them is a huge effort in and of itself. Both are needed for success. Last year, we used to have a dedicated person on my team, just to call and remind people that they are signed up. This year, Jooners emails people, so that I don’t have to.
I say Jooners = Peace of mind!
